Meghann Koppele Duffy: Welcome to Three Questions where critical thinking is king, and my opinions and research are only here to support your learning and understanding. Hello, I am your host Meghann, and I am so honored you clicked on Three Questions today. Now, before you dig into any of the episodes, I wanted to connect with you all and you know, set the tone and the expectations for this podcast.

I created this podcast to help dig deeper. And to help others gain a deeper understanding of topics that at times will probably seem random, but I do promise they will help you as a movement pro, a partner, a spouse, a friend, a child, or even a parent. Each episode will be under 30 minutes. I'm trying to keep 'em around 22.

And during our time together, I'm gonna ask you three questions with these three goals in mind. Number one, foster curiosity and critical thinking. I won't lie. I do think that curiosity could be what saves the movement industry and is it corny to save the world? I mean, if we were just a little bit more curious, we would probably hear each other much better If we can let our egos go be open to new ideas and ask why.

Think about intentions, think about goals prior to just executing a technique. I also wanna share techniques, observations, and research that I truly believe in. And last, but maybe most importantly, have some damn fun. 'cause life is tough enough and I find the ride is much more enjoyable when we can be real and laugh about shit.

So why three questions? Well, I stole it from Socrates. We all remember Socrates. He used to ask a series of questions to encourage critical thinking. And I love that, but as a teacher, I realize that students hate being called on in the Socratic method. So this is my way to call on you in a more private setting.

And if I'm actually being honest, I have a friend that the rule of thumb was if you wanted to get to the truth about any situation or a night out, you would have to ask her a question three times. I can't remember which one of my college friends figured out this technique to use with her, but it never failed to be successful.

So in honor of Socrates and one of my closest friends from college, I hope you enjoy Three Questions. Now on to episode one.
